My work is figuratively based and invariably involves animals, real or hybrid, I'm partial to a monster. I'm intrigued by the point where our civilised self meets our instinctual, animal nature. In this series, the African Hunting Dog conjoins with the costumery of the Victorian era, but don't be too easily lured in by the pastel wallpaper and embroidered posies, for within the corset and bustle is laced an apex predator.
