Worlds Within
a solo exhibition by artist Trisha Lambi
Worlds Within brings together the different bodies of work that have emerged through Trisha Lambi’s painting practice over the years, exploring the idea that a single life can contain many worlds.
Each series reflects a different way of seeing, thinking and responding to the world. Lush, light-filled figurative paintings sit alongside quieter coastal scenes and bold abstract forms. Together they reveal not one fixed artistic identity, but a shifting landscape of interests, experiences, memories and imagination.
The exhibition also includes a small number of works by Trisha’s son. Their presence shows that even within a family, where lives are closely connected, each person develops a world distinctly their own.
These works aren’t brought together because they’re alike, but because of the richness of their differences: between generations, between influence and independence, between the familiar and the unexpected.
“I’m inspired by light. The way it falls across a form, the drama it creates and the stories it tells.”
