Studio 8 - Sunday 13 December
Art Market
Stallholder FAQs
Thanks for being part of our market on Sunday 13 December. Here’s everything you need to know about the day, whether you’re applying or already confirmed.
-
Indoor and outdoor stalls are 2m wide.
Tables aren’t included, so bring your own or hire a 1.8m trestle for $15.
-
No power is provided. Bring a fully charged power bank for your phone or EFTPOS device.
-
Outdoor stalls: there’s no hanging available outside, so bring your own stands, easels or shelving.
Indoor stalls: limited wall space is available on our art track system. This is allocated before the day and depends on availability.
-
Outdoor stalls are on gravel in the car park. We recommend:
a ground mat or outdoor rug
stable display furniture for uneven ground
small wedges to level your table
-
The market goes ahead rain or shine, with the exception of extreme weather events. If you’re outdoors, come prepared with:
shade, either your own [gazebo or umbrella] or a hired 3m umbrella ($60)
weights for each leg or base (essential)
protection for your work in case of wind or light rain
-
Arrive during bump-in from 8am
Move your vehicle before the market opens at 9am
Be fully set up before opening
Please stay set up until 3pm. Packing down early affects the day for visitors and other stallholders.
-
You’re responsible for your own sales. Bring EFTPOS, Square or similar, and cash with change if you’re taking it.
-
Label everything clearly with prices
Secure lightweight pieces in case it’s windy
Bring bags or wrapping for purchases
-
Parking and bump-in details will be emailed before the day. Please unload quickly so everyone has room to set up.
-
Bring your own, or grab something from the local cafés or Balter Brewery nearby.
-
This is a curated market and applying doesn’t guarantee a spot.
If you’re selected, we’ll email an invoice for your stall fee and any hire.
The market goes ahead rain or shine.
Stallholders stay set up until close and are responsible for their own stock, setup, sales and insurance.
-

The Studio 8 touch
This is a curated market, so we’d love every stall to feel considered. Neutral tablecloths, tidy displays and good signage go a long way and help everyone’s work look its best.
We look forward to welcoming you to Studio 8 Currumbin for a day of original art, handmade work and creative community.
