Terms & Conditions

Artworks must be the original work of the Artist. Entries must be submitted via online entry only.

A non-refundable $45 entry fee (inc GST) per artwork must be paid online. Receipts will be issued upon request.

This form must be filled out and submitted before Friday 24th April and Artworks received at Studio 8 Currumbin on or before Wed 29th April.

Selection Process
This exhibition will be curated, and submission does not guarantee selection.

All entries will be reviewed, and artists will be notified by email of the selection outcome.

Submission fees are non-refundable and cover administration, promotion, and curation of the exhibition.

Artwork Requirements for Selected Works
Artists will be asked for artist details, artwork details, social media details, a link directly linking to the artwork for sale for creation of a QR code and a JPEG image of the artwork (file no larger than 3MB).

This Group show is open to all mediums excluding video and moving images. The artwork must be wall mountable with appropriate D Rings and wire for hanging on Art Track Hanging System and be no larger than 50cm on the longest side.

Artworks Must not Exceed 5kg.

Delivery Details
Artworks in the exhibition will be required to be delivered to: 
Studio 8 Currumbin, Unit 8/5 Traders Way, Currumbin
between 10am-2pm, Tue - Fri anytime on or before Wed 29th April 2026

Sales & Commission
Artworks will be available for purchase throughout the exhibition, No Commission will be taken with 100% of the sale going directly to the Artist. 

Studio 8 will create the QR Code - Artist is to submit a link to the artwork from their own landing page or website.

It is the responsibility of the Artist to ensure their page or link is working and ready to go.

All sales will be directed to your own landing page or website via a QR code that Studio 8 will create.

Artworks must be available for the full 10 days of the exhibition period (1st - 17th May 2026)

Liability & Shipping
While Studio 8 will treat all artworks with the highest level of care and respect, we cannot accept liability for any loss or damage, which remains the responsibility of the Artist.

The Artist is responsible for freight on forward and return shipments. Please make sure artwork has adequate packaging. All shipping and insurance costs must be met by the Artist.

Exhibition Dates
The Artworks will be exhibited in the STUDIO 8 Gallery from 1st - 17th May 2026

Gallery Sitting
As part of this group exhibition, the Artist is asked, within reason and via a shared calendar to help run the space by taking on at least one short gallery sitting. This shared responsibility helps keep the gallery open to the public and encourages a supportive, collaborative environment where artists can cross-pollinate ideas, connect with visitors, and support each other’s work.

Studio 8 will provide a shared calendar link when submissions are complete.

Permissions
By entering, the Artist consent to images of their work being reproduced and their biographical information used for the purposes of advertising and publicising the exhibition and for catalogue production.

Collection
At the conclusion of the exhibition all unsold works MUST be collected on or before 24th May 2026 from: Studio 8 Currumbin, Unit 8/5 Traders Way, Currumbin
